How this works:
Contact me by note, Tumblr Ask or email. Supply an email address where I can update you on sketches and we can converse more easily. Have any reference or description you might have at hand. I will listen and if we come to an agreement I will start sketching upon first payment/payment. When you are happy with the sketch I will proceed with the lineart and from there onto color.
Make sure you look over the sketch and everything is as you like it before I go into the lineart and color stage.
Lineart and color samples will be watermarked in half/half payment situations until the second half of the payment has been delivered.

I work in high resolution and you will receive a high res file. If you have a specific format request I will of course listen.

Notes:
* I may add background elements to full body pinup shots that I think fits on leisure.
* Small edits like simple color changes or smaller elements is no problem but excessive changes past the lineart and coloring stages may be charged for. Really look at the sketch or following WIPs and make sure you are satisfied.
*If there is anything you are unsure about, don't be afraid to ask.

Been busy with work and things yet again. Things have been shuffled about and become more effective so I will be opening commissions for real again but be cautious of delays along the way since I have some smaller project goals towards the end of April.

Me and friends are tabling at Stockholm International Comic Festival/SPX! We will be in the big auditorium at the Stockholm House Of Culture overlooking Sergels Square. No table number but these guys and their wares will be there: + me.

My new offering will be a sweet erotic collection of two short comics called "Groteskt Beteende" (Grotesque Behaviour). I'm considering printing it in Eglish if international folk want to buy it. Would anyone be interested?

Work is going fine. Projects are going fine. Things I'm doing is overall going very well.
Been thinking a lot about ways to put things out there in the world and ways to get it to the people that want it. Lot's of things to consider.

Things I've seen lately:
Ixion Saga DT isn't an artistic masterpiece but it has great voice talent, is solidly put together and is funny as hell. I reckomend it.
I dig Gyrozetter. It's well done and the characters are likeable. Only drawback is glowing "digievolution" transformations for the cars.

Gonna need a new journal up. Okay folks, been working on some stuff. Rather, I've been working on some stuff so I can work on some stuff. No real announcements but it feels good.
Work is doing fine. Summer so far is either rainy or sunny hot. So usual.

Sent away a sequential sample cold, so, eh, we'll see. It was a fun experience and I would want to do more pitches and such.

Random things:
Avengers was amazing. It did everything it set out to do and did it really well. Tied together awesomely.
Green Lantern The Animated Series is also very good. Before I saw it I was put off by the CG but they do it really well. New models every week and they never construct shots with tons of dead space to highlight how empty of people the backgrounds are. *coughtransformersprimecough*
Bakumans ending was... Fitting but didn't give much closure.
Ran To Haiiro No Sekai is the most beautiful and enchanting comic I've ever read in quite a while. It's published in Sweden by Ordbilder Förlag as "Rans Magiska Värld", GET IIIIT!

One of the personal project is a minicomic for the Stockholm International Comic Festival this April. It will be on the Comic Royale table along with previous copies of Served the 2nd and Served 3rd Strike. The minicomic is a story of ninjas and friendship. I'll put a teaser up soon. This time it will also be in English so if you want it we could work something out as soon as I know the price.

First journal of the new year!

My only resolution is: More Awesome. A promise which I intend to keep.
Otherwise I have had a downright nerve-wrecking 2011. Things are good now and part of the More Awesome is having it stay that way.

New anime season coming up. What I look forward to is "The Daily Life Of Highschool Boys" which looks to be hilarious, "Kill Me Baby" and "Rinne No Lagrange". Bonus mentions to "Symphogear" and "Aquarion EVOL".

Project wise I will try and have something new for the Swedish Small Press Expo. Still figuring out my comic/artbook mix and I realize I don't have a lot of time to do it in. Besides that I just need to make more time for personal projects.

Yes, I'm currently employed at IC3D/Indieplay as a concept artist. As soon as I settle into routine things will go back to normal here as well. So far its an interesting experience and I am learning a lot about teamwork. I'll tell more when I can.
Now I no longer have to doubt the professional tag. Exciting things about folks.

Update of things inconsequential:

Saw Captain America a while ago. Best damn classic style adventure movie in a long while. Can't wait to see the Avengers. That movie will rule even if it manage to suck.

I've caught up to Dan VS. The limited animation takes some to get used to but it somehow works, the background art is gorgeous and the writing and voice acting is spledid. Dan is the most lovable insane misantrophist ever.

Squid Girl and Gintama is balm for the soul.

Now that I have money I am looking for a reasonably priced Masterpiece Grimlock. No such luck.

Alright. Things are moving along still.
Come Monday I think I will have a Monster Week towards Halloween. Everything posted will be somehow monster or horror related. More or less because that's what I have in the ringers and because why not.

Updates on random things:

Ben-To. An anime where people fight to the death over half priced prepacked meals.... Is absolutely wonderfully ridiculous and entertaining. Doesn't hurt that the fights are also well animated. My only complaint is that the aesthetics of the show is a bit generic. But it's a good watch.

The Last Exile sequel has started! It's probably Gonzo's way to get back in the limelight and the first episode was very promising. The only minus is that the CGI hasn't improved.

Gundam AGE has aired a few episodes by now and it's very by the numbers. It's really well put together however and there is nothing wrong with it. Time will tell how it goes. It really shows the script was originally meant for a video game however. The AGE system is just an upgrade/levelup system and the first act so far is so... First half hour of an RPG.

I have also been watching The Amazing World Of Gumball. Such a great show and it's just my kind of humor. AWESOME composite work going on here between CGI and 2d. Darwin is the cutest character ever. Concentrated diabetes.

This coming weekend I'll be participating in a 24 hour comic thing. I will be writing it in English so it can be posted easily.

Speaking of which. If I do a small oneshot comic in English and put it for sale, would anyone out there be interested? I've been thinking that it would be more worthwile rather than making something in Swedish I would have to translate.
Still; I can do that with material I already have. But new stuff is always good. Maybe mix it up; like half comic, half artbook.

In the future I will also be making a wordpress site for myself so look forward to that as well.


On another note people really need to stop whining about superhero costumes. This is getting more ridiculous than the costumes themselves at this point.

Things nobody cares about:

Phi-Brain was a big surprise for me. It sounds in concept (life and death puzzle solving) more like a NDS game than an adventure show but it was neat and effectively directed. Looking forward to see where they go with this. It's like early Yu Gi Oh without the sadism.

Kamen Rider Fourze is almost too entertaining and leave me with a goofy grin every Monday. Good shit.

Sorry for the extremely late new journal here. I would say I have been busy. Which while probably true is also probably not a proper excuse.

During this time I have:
Done an animation pitch.
Graphics for an Iphone game.
Illustrations.
Concept stuff.
Spec work.

Anything. I probably won't let up anytime soon either. So I'll forge on ahead.

I also missed possibly ALL summer movies. I have used all the extra money I had for occational good eats and stuff to store all my stuff securely. Fuck you bugs, fuck you moisture. You will never have my shit.

Anyhow.

Transformers: Dark Of The Moon is the best of the lot if nothing else because it if any reminded itself whose characters where in the title.

Redline is sex for your eyeballs. If you haven't seen this movie yet then do it! Do it and buy it and do it again!

Life With Loiue is weapons grade awkward life sucks, deal with it comedy. Watching it I think I understand catharsis.

I also saw "The Number 23". Somewhere in the middle my brain went "this movie is so dumb" with the hilariously cliché detective flashbacks that where out of place and made absolutely no sense. By the end it was revealed to have been the point. Somehow I think this movie would have been a much better book. Books, due to their nature as something as abstract as symbols on paper that form understanding in your brain does metaphysical stuff much better than film.

Batman: The Brave and The Bold ended this summer. It was one of the best superhero anythings that have ever been made so far. If you ever wonder "hey, whats the appeal?" or are just tired of things that have been aimed at kids originally being played "darker" as to not make older fans feel self conscious? Check this show out.

I'm currently visiting home and enjoying some sort of miniature vacation. So anything I throw up here is pretty loose and easy for now.

I have borrowed a laptop from my sister that I'm working on and its pretty nice. Well, everything but feeling the heat under your hands in the middle of the summer and an LCD screen where you can't be sure of color value representation.

But I'm not complaining.

Going to see Transformers: Dark Of The Moon tonight. I'll probably say what I thought later.

Also texting a Babian.se comic entry that I will also translate and toss up here when it goes up over there.

The laptop is by the TV and by that I've caught a few episodes of Supernatural that reruns nightly right now. It's a fun show... Atleast the few I've seen. Really, anything that involves high concept melodrama isn't too spectacular but the bro moments and humor is high octane.

I can understand people get insanely hooked on it.

SPX is done and over with. It was awesome.

Got to meet a lot of far away friends and meet lots of cool people. The only real downside is that I was a bit strapped for cash and couldn't buy everything I laid my eyes on. I also missed Bryan Lee O'Malleys panel due to table duties (baww, etc).

But it was fun. Got an autographed vol 5 of Scott Pilgrim, not for any other reason than not having it and slaying two birds with one stone. I really just wanted to meet the guy and tell him that I looked forward to what he's about to do next (whatever it is). I really should have come up to the table with Lost At Sea or something... But what can you do.

Godspeed you crafty Canadian!

I also got an autographed copy of "De Äventyrslystna Karlakarlarna 5" (The Adventureprone Manlymen) by Johan Wanloo. It's awesome. Wanloo is awesome. He also has a webcomic named "Rock Manlyfist: Master Of Space Karate!", which you really should be reading.


I also ate the most glorious chinese buffet in my life so far. It had actual shrimp in the fried shrimp and they had icecream as well! Bliss.

Random update of things:

Aoi No Excorcist is pretty good. Kind of like FMA meets Soul Eater. But good.

Hanasaku Iroha is probably even better. Great writing! Nice production values and the country hotsprings inn setting is very colorful.

The Fringe season finale had a massive "brain full of fuck" effect. I have no idea where they will go with this but its most definitely interesting. But if I have to ask one question its: when will they bring up the thread from season 2 with the woman who matched the pattern cases to events from the book of revelation?! We know "why" now but there is plotstuff there. Just as with the exact nature of the Observers.

I will be selling Served 3rd Strike at the Comic Royale table. Comic Royale  #5 is coming out and it's looking to be even better than last years. Which is far from hyperbole. It's a gorgeous book with lots of cool comics in it.

Served 3rd Strike will have stupid barbarians, adorable dominatrixes and a revisit to a world from the first book.

You won't HAVE to have read it to enjoy this continuation. It's sufficiently standalone.

Random updates of random things:

Tiger & Bunny is fucking awesome! It's about reality TV star superheroes and our main protagonist is a 40 year old single father whose  superhero persona is really impopular. His sponsors team him up with a hip young hero to boost ratings. AWESOME ensues. It's really well done and funny to boot. Best international cast of characters in a long time.

A-Channel is cute but boring, Nichijou is cute but interesting.

Dog Days is perfectly mediocre. Yet it does SOMETHING right because episode 2 was just a good time. Character designs are stock... EVERYTHING is a bit bland. But what you see is what you get I guess.

Random update on different things of varying importance:

Pirate Sentai Gokaiger: is pretty much the awesomest thing in a while. Pirate rangers, they can transform into previous years heroes, pirate hat robot! CAPTAIN MARVELOUS!

I'm completely burned out on the whole "funny online reviewer" thing. I'd rather watch someone talking about something they care about straight rather than be all pissed and screaming about it (even if it is an act, look, even the Angry Video Game Nerd stopped that years ago).

Adventure Time continues to flip between good and genuinely amazing. It hits that warm spot in your heart that is right besides the love for icecream and righteous fist-pump.

Danball Senki (Cardboard Box Wars? What will Level-5 call this franchise in the west?) looks to be the best collectible game/franchise/toy show in a while. It shares DNA with both Medabots and Megaman Battle Network. Character designs are totally solid and its simple in the way that there is absolutely no problem with it yet its not boring. Just solid.

My Comic Royale entry is done, just needs scanning, cleaning, lettering and a bit of tone.

There will probably be no Kioskvältare II entry due to space issue (the thing is already 80 pages packed).

But Served the 3rd Strike is coming along nicely.

SPX registrations are out! I don't know if I will be sharing a table yet or not. Possibly my stuff will be at the Comic Royale table this year again. I'm not sure. Will get back to you on that.

Otherwise I'm job hunting and what-not. Oh! I'm participating in a Daily Drawing challenge over at Sattelite Soda www.sattelitesoda.com this whole month. Expect stuff.

I've been curious about art trades this whole time I've been at DA but for many reasons (mostly related to me not becoming a human being until I left high school or because I've been sick or because I've been busy) I've never done one (okay, one... kind of. BG where is my picture?!).

Random update of things:

Played the indie game "Eversion" a few days ago. Hard but still sweet. It's like Kirby meets HP Lovecraft. Truth if ever that horror is in atmosphere and not in screen resolution.

Madoka Magica is related to the previous paragraph. I'm serious. It's also fantastic and I really wish the ED single would come out already.

Yumekui Merry continues to be great, have fantastic design, direction and mood... But the latest episodes suffers a bit from setup-itis in that lots of exposition is dumped (it's based on a series of novels after all) and takes some away from each episodes plot arc. But it doesn't derail and continues to be a good watch.

Young Justice: Aqualad is very dependable and likeable, Superboy out-angsts Squall Lionheart, Wally is horny, Miss Martian is adorable (but has an annoying catchphrase), Speedys act got old in the pilot and Robins laugh is creepy.

Currently working on this years Comic Royale entry. Its an edutainment peice I'll get back to you about.

Been doing a lot of typical fantasy lately. Will do other things as well but its been really fun. Been wondering what you want to see, any suggestions?

Does OC stand for just Original Characters or does it also include Original Content? Annoying that its the same acronym. Speaking of which I think I want to draw some friends characters. It's about time already.

My Beast Wars series is now morphing into a general Beast Era series. Have some squid coming up there. I'm also banging my head how to manage Beast Machines Primal. Do I use the Deluxe or the Air Attack toy to model the design off?

Random update on things:

The Houro Musuko anime handles the comics conversational storytelling pretty well. It's understandable why they start the series when it does in the timeline but they also had to compress a LOT of stuff in the first episode to set the mood and themes of the show going. But the art and direction are still marvelous.

At the start of this year I really looked forward to Green Lantern, now I don't really care but is a bit psyched about Captain America. Thor is kind of...

New Spiderman suit looks pretty cool. I mean, it looks like it could feasibly had been sewn together by a college student.

X-Men: First Class... I miss Emmas corset and every outfit I've seen the character wear so far looks several times more appealing than the thing the cast shot claims is the characters costume. Why did they remove Sebastian Shaws bondage fiend power (the more you hit him the stronger and tougher he becones)? It was a funny idea that worked with the whole Hellfire Club thing, do we really need another "absorbs power" guy?

Kevin Bacons sideburns are however pretty epic.
