UNITED SQUADRON OHSAYER!

Um... I whas inspired by that Sentai contest and all this hubhub about wether Shinkenger would have been adaptable for Power Rangers or if it whas too full of Japanese national pride. (It whasn't for neither of these reasons, it just seems like Disney won't shell out for a TV-show.)

But seriously. Origami mecha? Ink brush morphers? Erupting Mt Fuji on the side of a giant sword? FRIGGIN SUSHI CHANGER.

Look, Shinkenger is ridiculing its own premise as it goes along.

Anyway. Ink with brush, nib pen and marker. Colored on the computer.

Why does the Ohsay Black Bull Ranger remind me of Chief from Inspector Gadget?

What makes you draw THAT conclusion?

I LOVED it!

My jokes on those who thought Disney wouldn't adapt it to Power Rangers because it was too Japanese for American audiences.

Ah ok! Well you said Shinkenger was ridiculing itself so I thought you didn't like it :P

Well Saban got the rights back for Power Rangers and they're going to adapt Shinkenger. I hope they don't pull a Jungle Fury where they replace the glove changers from Gekirangers with fruity shade morphers x_x

What I meant was that Shinkenger distanced itself from its possibly nationalistic premise by being tongue in cheek about it.

Jungle Fury was Disney.
